Seeds of ashitaba have been planted

Today was a calm day after a series of low pressure systems that made the weather very rough.
Despite being in January, the temperature rose and it was a spring-like day.

I finished sowing seeds in the field in November and December last year, but I have a few seeds left over, so I am going to sow them in pots.
The ashitaba will sprout lovely twin leaves in just under a month from sowing.

This time I bought soil (for sowing seeds) and potting stones at a 100 YEN store.
I also reused one of the pots that was lying around the garden.

Ashitaba is said to be photophilic.
This time, I tried three different patterns of covering soil when sowing seeds.
One with no soil cover, one with a little soil cover, and one with about 1cm of soil cover.

After setting the seeds, water them generously, done!

Today's Sunset

It was a calm day, as if the big storm of a few days ago was a lie.
